The Why and How of Developmental Screening

The pediatrician helps early detection of developmental conditions so that early intervention can commence. Early intervention has been shown to provide better outcomes in developmental and behavioral conditions. Fortunately, there are screening tools available for the pediatricians for early referral and intervention.
